Is my land listed publicly without my permission?
No. Your parcel appears on the map using public county records that are already publicly available — but your personal details are never shown. You control everything, including whether your mailbox is open or closed.
What if someone gets hurt on my land?
Every renter signs a digital liability waiver before access is granted. For high-risk activities like hunting or ATV riding, renters must show proof of insurance. Our attorney-reviewed lease templates include indemnification clauses. We strongly recommend consulting your own attorney as well.
How do I get paid?
Payments are held in escrow and released once access is confirmed. For day passes, funds clear within 24–48 hours. For leases, payment schedules are agreed upon in the lease terms and processed automatically.
Can I block certain types of inquiries?
Yes. You set exactly what you're open to — purchase, lease, specific day-pass activities — and we only surface relevant inquiries. You're never obligated to respond to anyone.
What states does this work in?
The core platform — searching parcels and sending inquiries — is available nationwide at launch. Advanced features like escrow payments, broker referrals, and attorney-reviewed lease templates roll out state by state depending on local legal requirements. If a feature isn't available in your state yet, you'll see it clearly marked and can join the waitlist to get notified when it unlocks.
What happens if I don't sign up but people inquire about my land?
We'll notify you by mail or email (if we can find public contact info) that inquiries exist. You'll see an overflowing mailbox on your parcel — a signal that real buyers are interested. Signing up is the only way to find out who.
